Human Trafficking is a crime that hides in plain site in every city, no matter the size or location. Many police officers have never been taught who, how, where and why people are tricked into being trafficked. They also have never been given information on how to assist victims of trafficking, resources available for victims and how to investigate potential trafficking situations they encounter. This course will educate officers on how to Identify and Investigate trafficking situations, along with what resources are available to assist victims. This would be excellent training for patrol officers, investigators, and supervisors.
