Training for Workers Who Serve Alcohol or Work In Hospitality Settings

Copper Penney Training offers alcohol server training that is certified by the State of Minnesota Attorney Generals Office. In many instances, bartenders and servers are unaware of the liabilities and responsibilities involved with the serving and selling of alcohol. It’s civilly and criminally beneficial to liquor establishments, bartenders and servers to be properly trained in the service of alcohol and the rules and responsibilities that fall upon them.

The objectives of the training include:

  • Eliminating over-serving of adult alcohol consumers
  • Eliminate underage access to alcohol
  • Protect the integrity of the event and participating individuals
  • Diminish chances of charges to the server
  • Diminish chances of civil litigation to

  • Provide information on detecting obviously intoxicated people
  • Provide information on appropriate I.D. that is required to consume/purchase alcohol
  • Provide information on detecting fake I.D.

At the completion of this training, the attendees are given a certificate of attendance by the State of Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.
